One of the biggest challenges in instructional planning is deciding what we want our students to know and be able to do. To define the parameters of the knowledge and the skills and/or processes we want students to master, we often find it helpful to read and study the content we are attempting to teach.

The following information is provided to assist in targeting specific, multidisciplinary content appropriate for classroom instruction. Information about copper and copper mining is provided in the form of fact sheets and vocabulary lists. In addition general mineral resource and mining information is included in a question-answer format.
